RACKET HEAD BOOM PRO
The Head Boom Pro racket has been designed to deliver explosive power with exceptional feel thanks to its Auxetic construction. This model doesn't sacrifice control for the best compromise between power and control.
The Head Boom range features an all-new frame mold to meet current market demands. In other words, more power and control with maximum feel when striking.
This model weighs 310 grams and features a 16x19 string pattern to optimize power and forgiveness. Its 630 cm² headsize will enhance precision.
HEAD BOOM PRO EXTREME TENNIS TEST
The Head Boom Pro racket features Graphene 360+ construction and, above all, Auxetic construction to enhance the feel of every shot. It allows us to accelerate the ball quite easily thanks to a good level of power, while retaining a good level of control. We loved it on rhythm shots, where the racket just wants to hit harder and harder.
However, it does suffer from spin. It would be preferable to start with the MP version or use a structured string to improve spin.
Tolerance was excellent, and we didn't feel any bad vibrations outside the centering zone. This Boom Pro is therefore very comfortable.
The new Auxetic technology also plays its part in enhancing feel (we were able to distill some nice dampening). Volleying is a real treat, with the Head Boom Pro racket being very stable and allowing you to put the ball where you want it.
On serve, the ideal compromise between power and control allows you to find your sweet spot.
This is a stable racket capable of accelerating when pushed, and rewarding its player with excellent sensations.
WHO SHOULD USE THE HEAD BOOM PRO?
This model is designed for intermediate to expert players looking for the best power/control/sensation ratio. What's more, it's very affordable for a headsize of 630cm².
