Reel Tecnifibre Duramix

The Tecnifibre Duramix set is certainly one of the most popular sets in specialist stores, because of its durability, comfort and feel.

Thanks to its new Hybrid 3D technology, Tecnifibre Duramix is a 3-in-1 string!

What is this technology? The string's core is made up of polyester strands for added control and strength + polyamide (used for multifilaments) and covered with a layer of PU for added comfort.

Enjoy all the benefits of a single string!

OUR TEST OF TECNIFIBRE DURAMIX STRING

Over the first few hours of play, we appreciated the control this string provided while delivering the necessary power. We appreciated the crisp feel when hitting the ball and the stability when hitting hard.

Power is not outdone, and the string provides nervousness when you let go of your shots.

The icing on the cake is the very good comfort, making it a strong point for players looking for the best compromise between resistance, control and comfort.

Although the tolerance is less than that of traditional multifilaments, the difference is slight.

Durability is shorter than monofilament, but lasts 25 to 33% longer than multifilament.

WHAT TYPE OF GAME IS TECNIFIBRE DURAMIX DESIGNED FOR?

We recommend Tecnifibre Duramix to players who play with monofilament and want to switch to a more comfortable string without sacrificing the feel of mono. But also for young players who break multis too quickly! In this situation, you'll have the most comfortable and durable string on the market today.

It can be used for all types of play, as this string is quite versatile. Even if you don't hit the ball hard enough, this string is still pretty responsive! And conversely, if you hit the ball hard enough, you'll still have control.

Where does the Tecnifibre Duramix string fit into the Tecnifibre range?

It's somewhere between Tecnifibre XR3 and HDMX in terms of power/control. However, Duramix is very close to HDMX! It offers more power, less control and slightly less resistance.
